Each swinger will probably handle this situation differently based on them personally and who has discovered them. Please remember that you do not have to explain yourselves or your actions. Especially if the person who discovers you is negative toward the lifestyle. You trying to make them understand is like them trying to persuade you to remove yourself from the lifestyle. This leads to confrontation and possible hurt feelings. Of course if they are interested in hearing about the lifestyle, share with them what you are comfortable sharing. Do not apologize! The lifestyle is one of which you as an adult have chosen to enjoy. You are doing what is right for you therefore no apology is needed.
