A tradgedy

This is something very sad and very stupid in my view, it's the cruise ship that sank, right off coast, when hitting a sandbar, all sorts of things are occuring with the cause of it , but heres just a pic that shows the horror, alot losts their lives and some still missing, it's been like 4 or 5 days now , i thought maybe we could throw some prayers out there for them all that suffered thru this, thank you keri :butterfly:

RE: A tradgedy.....

In my opinion this is an total outrage, they should by now have a rescue plan for all cruise ships , C'mon people this is stupid , all those souls lost while trying to have a nice vacation, i know shit happens in life, but they should have all been rescued, they've been trapped for days is un human, thats just my opinion thank you and i pray for all who suffered thru this, keri :mad2:

RE: A tradgedy.....

They do have a plan, they're using explosives. As for everyone being rescued, wanna have something - anything done right have the Germans do it. Never been on a cruise, my wife has as a travel agent she'd been on quite a few, however, for flying/driving/railroads Germans are the best. Nice people too if you get to know them.

RE: A tradgedy.....

I still cant believe the Captian said he "accidentally" fell into the rescue boat. He deserves jail time. But what were thay doing that close to shore?

RE: A tradgedy.....

Agreed about the German people. I lived in Germany for a while, very hospitable people. They go above and beyond to make you welcomed in their home. I particularly like their custom of public dining. If you go out to a restaurant with your significant other and you are sitting at a table for six you can pretty much expect company. Germans are very comfortable sitting wherever there is a seat open; makes for great conversation.

RE: A tradgedy.....

Missing our buddy Keri where she go?

RE: A tradgedy.....

Ha! Accidently fell in a lifeboat. He was a coward! I work for a cruiseline and this was ridiculous how the captain handled this

RE: A tradgedy.....

My speakers arnt working. so what happened to the cruise ship? to me it looks like the captain wasnt paying attention to his depth sounder or something. Im from the west coast and lived on the ocean, and when stuff like this happens its usually just because a. Not familiar with the sea in the area, b. Dead head (one hell of a dead head to take out a ship that size) and c. Like i said Not paying close attention, Reefs and high tide and low tide can be a nightmare... if your not paying attention.
