We see it on people's profiles all the time. Wondering if anyone out there in ST land has ever been the recipient of backlash for their lifestyle. Some of us live in small communities where the backlash can be quite severe, others live in big cities where it could or couldn't matter. Anyone care to comment or share? |

Great topic Sweetie! We have had family seek us out here on the ST and that was quite a scene but certainly not as traumatic as those whom have lost jobs etc...Swinging is not risk free and hopefully we all understand that and prepare ourselves for any negativity that may evolve from our being open minded enough to follow and act on our desires, popular or not.

We kept our lifestyle secret for a long time. It wasn't until very recently when I started working at a swingers club that I got tired of always having to lie. I have been dropped by some friends, and others have stuck around but just don't want to know about it. Others acted just fine, like it was normal. Our family is a different story, they do not know, but I am sure they will soon enough. |

A friend of mine was in the lifestyle. She made no misgivings about the fact that she was and that she was active and happy. I do know for a fact that she got marked. She lost her job, cutbacks they say. She could not find employment even though she was often the most qualified. She ended up having to get a job outside the local area and has to commute to and from work. Small community, big problems |

WE LIVE IN A VERY SMALL TOWN AND EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT WE DO INCLUDING OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS and i still have my job and he is military,and let me tell you are town is very very small |

Yeah, that's a shame she had to go through that. I have to be honest, that's why I don't speak to anybody that I know about it. Not even my three closest friends. |

who cares what the world thinks,hell i gots me bigger fish to fry then what people think of us,and but it does help him beening military and people seem to respect him for defending our country i suppose ,either way would not care. |

this my life,they do not like it thats just to damm bad.when they pay my bills my mortage and truck payments and kids schooling and feed and cloth us,then maybe i give them a say until then they can fluck off |
