Getting a babysitter
We are finding that the hardest part of this lifestyle is finding sitters. I think some folks will percieve this as we are stalling. Plus, we have had sitters bail, which then comes off as we don't really want to meet. Does anyone else have this? For the record, we are meeters, 100%, but the sitter situation has been difficult for us, especially overnight. |

Unfortunately life does happen sometimes. We have been the couple where the others sitter backed out, If they are that non understanding when it happens then they aren't really anyone you would want to meet anyway'

I think us swingers who have kids understand fully the frustration of cancelling plans at the last minute due to sitters. But, I truly feel that good things are worth the wait and if someone didn't have the patience to schedule another time it's their loss. Besides, it gives us more time to flirt online and get the anticipation built up!

I understand totally where you are coming from! We don't have overnight sitters. Ever. So when we go out we get hOme between 2-4am, and one of us is up at 6am with the kids, then take turns sleeping al day!...lol
My son is special needs so we have 2 sitter we go back and forth with. One does daytime stuff with him. The other babysits 2 evenings a month so we can get out. We booked our sitter in August for New Years and she bailed the week before. It happens! Start interviewing some people And making reference calls so you always have a few to choice from. That is my advice.

In my opinion, if people think you're bailing and using the sitter bailing as an excuse, they may not have children and don't understand what it takes to set up a meet these days. Baby sitters are hard to find and even harder to find one that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg and one you can count on and trust. I guess you just hope the people you were supposed to meet understand and are willing to try again. |

We have the same problem with getting sitters for overnight. We try to play during the day on Saturdays it seem's easier to get a sitter. |

i understand bout the sitters, although my children can stay alone now, but what some couples dont understand is they are a big part of our lives, it ant like we can up run and jump when they wanna just fuck, we have to also plan these meet and greets to around them descretfully, without them ya know freakin out , i do not want my children to find my LS yet, ya know, ive had couples get aggrevated at us, like they will email,....."what yall doin this weekened,????" ,...."can we get together this weekened???" and it'll be like wensday,.............UHHHHHH we cant and i personally dont move that fast, sorry, we just let it happen and if it works ,it works, and if not, well theres always another day, C'mon, life does have more important things goin on then sex to me!!!!!!!!!! but, dont get me wrong, now we do love sex, but our children and family life does comes first. thank you. sha, very good topic love. :hello: :butterfly: keri |

Actually we would be VERY interested in meeting other local couples with kids, and that's for family play dates too. In fact, we want that way before sex. |

We don't need a babysitter anymore to get out but we can't host either which some people get annoyed with.
Our LS friends most of which we haven't played with have met our kids and us theirs. We do lots of vanilla and family stuff with with them.
If someone doesn't understand then move on and quickly cause there are plenty of us out here that do. |

Exactly. I wouldnt introduce anyone to them. I want friends too! People who can just be themselves, and we don't feel like we have to lie about everything!! I have a great sex life at home!! Sex isn't on my main list of goals, or I would have fucked way more people!! |

It sure makes me feel more at ease knowing that others feel the same as us .... typically we get asked out on a "date" and get a sitter arranged well in advance. If it's not a "date" but a vanilla evening with LS folks, then my son would be with us. |
