Anyone have a special recipe they make every year for the holidays? My mom always makes chop suey, chili, and fried rice. I an mainly a dessert kind of girl and make the cakes & treats. This year with the change in traditions I did not have to make the treats & punches....but with New Year Eve approaching I did volunteer to bring something... so I got coconut rum balls in the fridge and I am attempting to make pretty cake balls, and cannoli bite sized treats.

OREO BALLS.................I got some balls for ya sharon, lol lol lol that sounded hillarious!!!!! lol no seriously, ok here gos.........get 1 pk of oreo cookies,......1 thing of cream cheese,.........1 big bakers cooking choc for melting,........and 1 white bar of bakers for melting
k------take cookies all of them put in a huge ziplock bag and smashem with a hammer (dont laugh it really works) till you get them all finely crushed,
get two pots on stove, one for choc, one for white , melt them but be careful not to burn,
then get your smushed cookies in a bowl add creamcheese and mix with ya hands until done to where you can start rolling them into balls (kindof like meatballs) them dip them into whichever choc you want then sit them each appart on waxpaper then drizzel the other choc on top where you can have choc, drizzled with white balls or white drizzled with choc balls .
put in fridge to harden, when done pull them right off , get a pretty tin or plate and place them on it!!!!!!!!! thats it, sounds like alot and it does take a lil time but not much , but is so fun and sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking good, you cant just eat one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I make chocolate chip cheesecake every year and this year I also tried a new recipe. I spread saltine crackers on a pan. On the stove I melted equal parts butter and brown sugar and boiled it about 3 minute. Spread the sauce over the crackers. Bake at 350 about 3 minutes. Pull out and scatter coarsly ground chocolate of your choice (I did white in the middle, Milk on one side and dark on the other. Put in oven for another 3 minutes. Pull out and spread chocolate to cover crackers. Top with crushed canes. Cool completely and break into the cracker size. They were a big hit. So fast and easy. |

hey yeh , lets have a balls party yall!!!!!!! we could have balls on a cake, cake balls candy balls , oreo balls, coconut balls , chips and big balls of dip, drinks out of balls cups, hats with balls on them , we can even pin the tale on the balls, lol we can have a big jumpy ball, we can play lets see who can roll the balls faster, we can have tubs of balls and ya gotta dip ya head and catch a ball in ya mouth, we also can have lil balls gift bags,we can roll Tator up in a ball and roll him down a big hill, and shirley will go rolling after him!!!!!!!!!! lmao lmao lmao :donald: lmao lmao lmao balls, balls ,balls,balls,balls!!!!! i can't stop!!!! somebody STOP THEM BALLS!!!!!!!! lmao lmao lmao |

Sharon??????? did you decide wha cha makin yet????? any balls perhaps?????? lol lol although that cheescake got me wantin some of that man, sounds awsome, i love me some cheesecake any kind will due, my favorite is turtle cheesecake, with the caremel and a lil drizzle of chocalet and a sprinkle of nuts on top!!!!! um um good!!! funny how BALLS and NUTS are all over the place!!!!! lmao lmao |

So far I made cake balls, rum balls, and now making canoli's.... and i have a cappacchino (sp) creme to make as well.
