I m Really 18
We came across a profile this morning that said She is 18 and He is 26. Nevertheless, in their profile they've been married for 8 years. I guess back when she was 10. Our question or concern as Swingers is as follows. Does age really matter and why? How would feel or handle a situation involving wrong description? |

Age matters only in relation to what we are comfortable with. We have children that are in their late teens so we kinda cringe when we see someone under 20, to uncomfortable for us. |

That we can understand. Same here. We kinda like to stay anywhere around the 40's and up. We are drown to 20's and 30's only if they exercise some form of maturity. |

When the years don't add up..( like in this case..because let's face it, can't be married off at 10) it is usually a error, or a single man.
I also notice that a lot of "single" woman won't put their age and it automatically goes to 18. However in pictures they are obviously in their 30's or 40's...

A lot of people are uncomfortable when the age difference starts to approach 20 years. That's, sons and daughters, mother and fathers, ages. There is also the generation gap.
Just on a social level, finding things in common, can be hard.
For me, age really isn't a problem. Understanding what the other person is talking about, is.

Its not the age persay that gets me, its the deception. If they are lying about age what else are they willing to lie about? I mean c'mon, I will know your 55 and not 18 when I meet you lol

Another thing, when I see the age doesn't really fit the person...I send them an email just letting them know cuz sometimes they really don't have a clue that it was marked wrong.

i think in a case like that it probably is a error, cause they did state married for 8 years. I know personally when we first set up our account even though we thought our info was all put in correctly about a week later we noticed the wife's age set at 18. |

Read a profile the other day. They were looking for some "close to their age or younger" she was 18
I sent a note. She aged 15 years in 24 hours. lol
Sometimes it is a mistake and will fix it. |

I guess it's really a common error. We have no problem with age, age is a plus. We prefer to hang with grown folks. |

If the age said 18, which is the default, I think its an error. I saw a man's profile that said he was 18, and clearly the pic he had wasn't 18. Sent him an email, he said he wasn't aware and would look. His age changed to 53. We will be going to mon chalet together. So one never knows what you may find behind the defaulted age of 18, Just might be a good fcuk. LOL |
