What would you do if while swinging with a couple for quite some time, the male half ask you (male) to do them a favor by getting his wife pregnant. What would you do? And why? |

I had both halves of a lesbian couple separately ask me if I'd donate for them. Both backed off (as I knew they would) when I insisted on a fully natural delivery method (for the sperm, not the baby).
Such a thing opens up so many cans of worms. Legal, emotional, etc. Bad idea. |

Seek a lawyer for this one before you go threw with it or you may end up paying support for the child if they split up. Protect yourself at all cost. |

As a partner of the donor, I would want to know why type of interaction there would be with parenting. After all, I would be a "step" parent and would want to ensure that the child was adequately taken care of. |

I would say no.
Being the father, I would have legal rights. You as the parents raising my son/daughter, have legal rights. It would/could get very complicated very fast. That is not even talking about the medical reasons, why or why not!

Absolutely not!!. In addition to the legal issues already mentioned what about the child? It is possible that the child at some pont in their life may find out that "Dad" is not the father (DNA, medical issues) and how fo you explain that mommy had sex with another man. I personnally would not want to be in that situation. |

Can you imagine what would happen if a divorce was to happen? OMG can you imagine the drama in that courtroom!

I hate to play the devil's advocate. But here goes. Everyone is talking about the legal, emotional, etc that could go along with such a favor. If you are still fertile then to be absolutely sure you won't contribute your sperm you either get a vasectomy or stop having sex with the female. There are some very sneaky ways to still have access to your sperm without you knowing it. Once that condom leaves your hand its fair game to anyone that wants it. She can dig it out of the trash or even take it off you and say she will throw it away. If there is active sperm in the condom she can use them to impregnate herself. She can also supply the condom making sure she has put holes in it or a slight tear making sure it will break.
The fact the husband would ask for permission shows some integrity on his part. |

The answers to this topic are, the legal and emotional ramifications. Even saying no, can stir up emotions that might be hard to deal with. |
