Do you use a safe word ? Mike and I have one... One that we know that we would never say in the heat of the moment

I've had to use it once, they guy was hurting me, I used it and Mike ended it in about a second ! |

Gary, Your answer is more along the lines of, code or silent communication. A safe word is something Sharon would use.

We used a word......but that was usually during the inital "date" if either of us wanted to cut the night short. Once we decided to meet, if at anytime we felt hurt, scared, or just not cool...we would say what ever it was that was bothering us. Sometimes ppl don't know they are hurting the other......like hair pulling....some like it......others don't. I would rather someone tell us that something is wrong and needs to stop.....rather getting up and leaving without saying what went wront. |

Tony and I don't get into the activities where a safe word is needed but I totally feel that those who enjoy that type of activity should certainly have a safe word.

The safe word was my idea, just for my peace of mind.... The time where the guy hurt me was ..... He got over excited and went in to far, I had already pushed him back a couple of times, so the 3 time I just said the word. Thought it would be better than kicking him in the face :p |

Ha, ha Boys... yes I have used a safe word in the past, that's what pushing limits is all about. Todd and I do not need one as he never pushes me to the point where I need one. But if I come across a situation where I need to ensure my safety, I will defintely have one.
