October is DV Awareness month
As the Month of October starts, we are made aware of how prevalent Domestic Violence is.
In the swing lifestyle we learn to deal with many personalities, relationships, and unusual circumstances...and if there is a hint of jealousy by one mate it could be one of the many signs of a damaged relationship.
Would you know any of the signs to look for? Have you seen them here in the forums? Perhaps at a party? Would you say something to the person you think is being abused?
There are soooo many questions and senarios that can be misinterpreted, but I would rather be dead wrong and at least voice my option than to not say a word and not get the chance to save a life.
Please become Aware at how DV can impact you or someone you know.... take time this month to listen, learn, and advocate.
