Universal sign
We need to invent a sign that swingers can use to ID themselves. The gays have the rainbow, the masons have a handshake, we need something too. What could it be? |

I have to say ... no word of a lie .... I was driving along yesterday and was thinking the same thing. What if we went out to any local est. and could tell by a sign .... WOW! ... wouldn't that be an awesome tool. :) Can't wait to hear the suggestions! |

There used to be the ankle braclet....but that got took over by the kids. :( Some where tats but they are usually not visable to the public. Are we all ready to come out of the closet yet? LMFAO

There is a symbol that many people consider the one to represent swingers.

What about a lapel pin. Maybe 2 stylised S's spooning together. One pink one blue. |

You know those ribbons you see on the back of cars. I think it started with a pink one for breast cancer. then every other group got their own. A blue and a pink ribbon somehow put together could be the symbol for swingers. The beauty of this would be since there are already a lot of other groups with those ribbons, people that are swinger would really be the only people, at first, that would know what the ribbons would mean. Others would look at it as just another ribbon on the back of some car, shirt, hat, jewelry. etc.

The car ribbon is cool, but I would want something for face to faces too. Maybe a pink and blue rubber wrist bracelet too? Like the livestrong ones. |

The symbol Cute posted is common. New Horizons here in the Seattle area had it put on T-shirts and some jewelry made. Aj |

Personally, I like the symbol posted as well. I also think we need the ribbon too. It could start as a blue tail up one side and then change to a pink at the curve/flip. We could have lapel pins and charms for each.

What about rings. School rings and sports teams have rings. The face could have a design that interlocks when reversed. So if to people press them together the ring faces mate up. Could be used as a sign of intention.

We have been really thinking about this and we came up with a possible pin with a swing then you could have 3 people, 4 or ad many as you want to advertise you are looking for. In saying that we really like the ribbon as it is very discreet and can be in multiple fomates ie pins, on cars etc. I' m headed to the local craft stores to look for ribbon. All in my area look for the sign ;p |

Create Bumper Stickers that says or has key words like "Feel The Breeze" or "Hold On With Both Hands" or "Come Closer" or "You Don't!!! Too Bad" or "What's Mines Is Yours" or "Don't Lose Out" or "Carpool With Us". Lol. |
