Where are friends going
I have a question to the site owner regarding people that have been removed from my friends list. I see that they still have an account but they have been removed from my list. How can I find out why this has happened. |

People remove you from their friends list for varying reasons one could be distance, another could be trimming the herd down to those they feel pose a larger chance of something happening. Then its the instant gratification people expect today, if you haven't had sex after a short while they expel you. Don't take it personally, just move on or send them a message and ask them. |

I agree with Woolwich, many people do remove people from their friends list for various reasons....and I do that myself periodically. If I have not had any contact or interaction with a person in a long time and they are just a "web" friend I will delete them. All of the people I've met in real life will remain on the list.
You could ask them, but I'd just say perhaps they are no longer interested!

We are very reserved about who we add to our list. Generally we must have spoken at least once to determine if there is any interest and they must be within a reasonable distance so that we could actually meet.
If a month or two passes and we don't chat and have never meet then I remove them. If we have meet once or twice but never played and several months pass without talking here or at a local club I remove them.
Some folks gain something personally from having a large list however I am not one of them.
Some may get insulted by being removed from my list but if you never speak to me or plan to meet me why should it matter. |

I am the same way with adding people. In my profile it states that clearly, yet people get pissy when I don't add them.... gotta love it! |

Some of the people who were "friends" with lms1964 are gone from my "friends" list too. I tried to look for their profiles by name and got the... "it appears that the profile is not available to the public" ...message. They are simply not to be found "here" any more. People who are friends outside a site do not generally "un-friend" you inside a site. |
