motel who pays
I've got a question, if neither party can host who usually pays for the hotel? Does it make a difference if it is two couples or a couple meeting a single? |

I'm not sure its the "correct" way but the way it worked out with us was that we met the woman for lunch (she paid) when the three of us decided that we were comfortable enough at that first meeting to play we got a room in which we paid for. |

You should both split the cost or at least make an attempt, some will say no they got it, but Does it really matter we all pay for it eventually lmao lmao

As a single girl I always went dutch when I went out to play....if a hotel/motel was involved I would at least OFFER to pay. Some let me, others their ego got in the way...so I'd buy lunch or something!
As a couple now, I'd say we'd pay for a single meet up...but one of our dear friends whom comes in for business has his corporate card cover it so neither of us pay.
Each circumstance is different so I think it just depends.

Thanks for the answers me and my andy friend who thinks I'm absolutely crazy for intertaining the idea has been asking alot of questions, so I'm gonna be asking them here. She thinks Im not serious, but oh how wrong she us. |

I agree with Sharon and think each encounter is different. If a couple has driven a long way to meet us then we would offer to pay. If it was a single lady we would offer to pay. If one couple paid for dinner we would offer to pay for the room.
However the only time we have used a hotel the couple drove about an hour an half, they picked the hotel, paid for the hotel and spent the night there after we went home. We brought the beverages. |

If we travel a considerable distance, normally the other party either hosts or covers the motel. We do the same if they are coming our way. In the middle...we meet and split the room if no other way. If a single man is in the picture, they normally opt to buy dinner, but not always. |

If its two couples getting a room, I would say that the cost is shared depending on the couples also. Some couples would prefer to pay for it or may get offended if they cannot pay. We have never ran across this with anyone. If it is a single party joining a couple, I would say the couple pay, but again depends on who it is. When me and my husband had single females join us, he got the room and food. |
